RE: COVID‐19 Update

The last few days and weeks have brought a lot of change. The staff of Pioneer are taking the necessary steps to protect themselves, their families, and the people around us. As part of Pioneer’s ongoing commitment to our clients, team members, communities and the industries in which operate we felt it was important to provide information and updates on what we are doing and have implemented in response to the COVID‐19 pandemic.

Where possible all locations of Pioneer will continue to be open to support our customers projects and needs during this uncertain time.

Please note the health and safety of our team, suppliers, clients, communities in which we live, and work and the general public are paramount to us. As such, we are taking the COVID‐19 outbreak extremely serious. In response to strange and uncertain pandemic and in line with the federal and provincial government’s recommendations Pioneer is working on relevant and new safe work practices and procedures for our workforce. Additional measures that have been taken on all projects, offices and shops which include these precautions:

  • Limiting meeting sizes
  • Limiting training class sizes to allow the appropriate social distancing
  • Monitored and frequent hand washing
  • Providing materials for hand sanitizing at the entrance points of our locations
  • Splitting the size of our staff and staggering shifts to allow for social distancing
  • Working from home where possible
  • Staggering all lunch, coffee and smoke breaks to allow for social distancing
  • Sanitizing and sterilizing each workspace/area/equipment with additional housekeeping practises

We will continue to monitor the ongoing situation closely and provide necessary communication as the situation changes.

These are unusual and challenging times indeed which require each of us to adapt our conduct every day. Pioneer is adapting our operations to minimize the risk where we can while continuing to provide our customers with the services they require. We certainly hope there will be a quick conclusion to the current situation and wish only the best for everyone during this challenging time.

Training

Canada’s north country can be challenging and not all of our customers are comfortable on every machine we rent. That's why we provide both in-person and online training on every unit we sell, alongside special safety training that can support our customers no matter what terrain they encounter. Individual online training can be completed at your own pace, or in-person group training can be arranged for a date and location of your convenience.
