This course is accredited by Woodland Operations Learning Foundation (WOLF), ARGO, Muddox & Muddtrax vehicles.

ARGO Operator Competency Level 1 Land Training

Course Description
The ARGO Operator Competency Level 1 Land Training course is the first part of a two-part training program developed by Canada Safety Council in conjunction with Ontario Drive and Gear. Our certified instructors will cover topics for land-only use. Students will learn about, among other things, pre-ride inspection, carrying passengers, riding strategies, maneuvering hills, safe riding practices and environmental concerns.

Learning Outcomes

  • Provides plenty of hands-on experience with an ARGO
  • Instruction on safety equipment, riding strategies, and hazard awareness
  • Instruction on critical maintenance and repair issues
  • Operating proficiency evaluated at the conclusion of the course

ARGO Operator Competency Level 2 Water Training (Canada Safety Council)

Course Description
The ARGO Operator Competency Level 2 Land Training course is the second part of a two part training program developed by Canada Safety Council in conjunction with Ontario Drive and Gear. Our certified instructors will further train and teach the individuals on winching techniques, as well as how to put tracks on or take them off. There is also a water component in day two to ensure riders have the skills and knowledge required when entering or exiting water with an ARGO

  • Amphibious operation of the ARGO and hands-on experience.
  • Winching and Cargo instruction.

ARGO Maintenance and Trouble Shooting (Pioneer Offroad Rentals)

Course Description
The ARGO Maintenance and Trouble Shooting Course was developed by Pioneer Offroad Rentals to assist customers in the maintenance of their ARGO’s. This shop course focuses on mechanical issues and in-field repair solutions a key logistics or technician will require to assist field staff in the repair and operation of their ARGO’s.

Individual online training can be completed at your own pace, or in-person group training can be arranged for a date and location of your convenience.
